MISSING FOR TWO WEEKS!

Last seen posting litter letter!
The people of Tameside are seriously concerned!

Council colleagues of a man who appears to have gone missing after newspaper correspondents viciously criticised his last obnubilated letter, are said to be "desperately worried" about him.

John Taylor, who is known locally as 'The Councillor' left his house in Dukinfield to post his missive to the Editor over two weeks ago, but failed to return and more to the point, his politically biased letters slating the Tories appear to have been rewritten by a local weatherman.

An old friend and neighbour, Sheila Blige, said: "He should have been going litter picking that morning and he just didn't turn up. His friend, R. Slicker, comes for him every day at the same time to get kitted out to their regular pictures taken fur’t press, but, he wasn't there for that, either!
.

His boss and mentor Kieran Quinn said, “It’s just not like him to get up and disappear. We're really, really, desperately worried. We're trying to get hold of him to sign off this month’s councillor expenses …. I mean bloody Hell, its holiday week and we all need our walking about money!”

Anyone with information is asked to contact: Kieran Quinn, the Police or alternatively, through Crimestoppers

  1. Laughed at your comments on The Councillor, "his friends, Sheila Blige and R Slicker".

He will have less of a public profile (hopefully), now that the Labour Times has ceased publication.

  4. I believe he has been spotted in the local Magistrate's court, flitting in and out of the public gallery. Sometimes using the public entrance, sometimes the private magistrate's entrance. Wonder if he's on expenses?
